The size of a pallet determines how much you can put on it, how many pallets fit on a lorry and whether your customer will accept it into their warehouse. Here are the dimensions of the types we supply most often.
Euro pallet size: 1,200 × 800 mm
A Euro pallet measures 1,200 × 800 mm and is 144 mm high. It weighs approximately 25 kg and carries 1,500 kg with the load evenly distributed. A standard 13.6 m trailer takes 33 of them in a single layer.
Standard pallet sizes: 80 × 120 and 100 × 120 cm
Non-EPAL pallets have either the same footprint as a Euro pallet or the industrial size of 100 × 120 cm. They differ in load capacity:
- 80 × 120 cm: lightweight 600 kg, standard 1,000 kg
- 100 × 120 cm: lightweight 500 kg, standard 1,000 kg, reinforced 1,500 kg
CP1 to CP9 chemical pallets
CP pallets come in nine sizes. Types CP1 to CP5 are 138 mm high, types CP6 to CP9 are 156 mm high.
- CP1: 1,000 × 1,200 mm
- CP2: 800 × 1,200 mm
- CP3: 1,140 × 1,140 mm
- CP4: 1,100 × 1,300 mm
- CP5: 760 × 1,140 mm
- CP6: 1,200 × 1,000 mm
- CP7: 1,300 × 1,100 mm
- CP8: 1,140 × 1,140 mm
- CP9: 1,140 × 1,140 mm
Pallet collars
Collars are placed on a pallet, so they match its footprint: 80 × 60, 120 × 80 and 120 × 100 cm. One frame is 200 mm high.
When standard sizes are not enough
If the load is longer, wider or heavier than the usual types can take, the pallet is made to measure. For example, we have made a pallet for sheet metal measuring 200 × 450 cm with a load capacity of 3,000 kg.
