Stacks of lightweight pallets in the MMLES yard

Standard and lightweight pallets

Non-EPAL pallets measuring 80 × 120 and 100 × 120 cm, with load capacities from 500 to 1,500 kg.

Range

By weight of load

Lightweight pallets with a load capacity of 500 and 600 kg are intended for lighter goods and one-way shipments. Standard pallets carry 1,000 kg and reinforced ones 1,500 kg. If your load does not fit these sizes or is heavier, we will make a pallet to measure.

Overview of types

  • 80 × 120 cm standard: load capacity 1,000 kg, height approximately 15 cm
  • 80 × 120 cm lightweight: load capacity 600 kg, height approximately 134 mm
  • 100 × 120 cm standard: load capacity 1,000 kg, height approximately 15 cm
  • 100 × 120 cm lightweight: load capacity 500 kg, height approximately 134 mm
  • 100 × 120 cm reinforced: load capacity 1,500 kg, height approximately 144 mm

We make the pallets from softwood: pine, spruce and fir. In service, a standard pallet with a load capacity of 1,000 kg has been tested to 3,000 kg in a stack, and a reinforced pallet to 4,500 kg.

When a lightweight pallet is enough

A lightweight pallet suits goods that travel only once and do not come back. For heavier loads or repeated use, choose a standard or reinforced pallet.

Gitterboxes

Our range also includes the steel Euro Gitterbox measuring 1,240 × 835 × 970 mm, with a load capacity of 1,500 kg. It is a mesh box pallet for transporting and storing piece goods.

Frequently asked questions

How does a standard pallet differ from a Euro pallet?

A standard pallet is not made to the EPAL standard and is not intended for exchange in a pallet pool. It serves just as well for one-way transport and storage, and works out cheaper.

What wood are the pallets made of?

Softwood: pine, spruce and fir.

Can the pallets be heat-treated?

Yes, on request we supply them heat-treated to ISPM 15 with the IPPC mark.
