Goods damaged on delivery
We ship goods by GLS courier or GLS pallet freight. If a consignment arrives damaged, please proceed as follows.
On receipt
- Before accepting the consignment, check the packaging and the number of parcels or pallets.
- If the consignment is visibly damaged or incomplete, point this out to the driver and have the damage recorded at delivery, for example in a damage report or on the driver’s device.
- Take photographs of the damaged consignment and its packaging.
- You may refuse to accept a visibly damaged consignment.
Damage found after unpacking
If you only find damage after unpacking, even though the packaging was intact, let us know as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours, by email to info@mmles.com or by telephone on +421 911 158 439. Please attach photographs of the goods and the packaging and the invoice number.
How we handle damage
We handle damage under the Complaints procedure. If you are a consumer, we are responsible for the goods until you take possession of them. Reporting damage early helps us settle it with the carrier more quickly, but your statutory rights are not lost if you report it later.
If you are a business, you must inspect the goods on receipt, report visible damage without undue delay, as a rule on receipt, and report hidden damage without undue delay after discovering it.
