Construction

The collars have galvanised hinges and riveted joints that hold even with frequent folding and unfolding. One frame is 200 mm high; frames are stacked on top of one another to the height required.

Non-standard sizes

For pallets of non-standard size we arrange collars made to measure. Please state the external dimensions of the pallet in your enquiry.

Pallet collar dimensions

  • 80 × 60 cm, for a half pallet
  • 120 × 80 cm, for a Euro pallet
  • 120 × 100 cm, for a 100 × 120 cm pallet

One frame is 200 mm high.

How pallet collars are used

The frame is placed on a pallet and turns it into a crate. Further frames are stacked on top of one another until the assembly reaches the height required. Empty collars fold flat, so they take up little space in return transport and storage.

New or used collars

New collars are made of softwood and heat-treated to ISPM 15, with the IPPC mark branded on. Used collars are fully functional and work out cheaper.
